71c4ca2d3b drm/amd/display: Remove stutter only configurations
[why]
Newer ASICs such as DCN314 needs to allow for both self refresh and mem
clk switching rather than just self refresh only. Otherwise, we can see
some p-state hangs on ASICs that do support mem clk switching.

[how]
Added an allow_self_refresh_only flag for dcn30_internal_validate_bw
and created a validate_bw method for DCN314 with the allow_self_refresh_only
flag set to false (to support mem clk switching).

54618888d1 drm/amd/display: break down dc_link.c
[why]
dc_link contains over 30k line of code, the decision is to break it
down to files residing in link folder based on functionality. This
change is the last break down change which will remove dc_link.c
file after everything is broken down.

[how]
Move remaining dc_link.c functions into link_detection, link_dpms,
link_validation, link_resource, and link_fpga and remove dc_link.

158858bf1a drm/amd/display: rework macros for DWB register access
[Why]
A hack was used to access DWB register due to difference in the register
naming convention which was not compatible with existing SR/SRI* macros.
The additional macro needed were added to dwb ip specific header file
(dcnxx_dwb.h) instead of soc resource file (dcnxx_resource.c). Due to
this pattern, BASE macro had to be redefined in dcnxx_dwb.h, which in
turn needed us to undefine them in the resource file.

[How]
Add a separate macro for DWB access to the resource files that need it
instead of defining them in DWB ip header file. This will enable us to
reuse the BASE macro defined in the resource file.

It is possible to see that the flip was submitted, but DC never replied

HUBP surface flip is missing. This commit fixes this issue by adding

9c75891fee drm/amd/display: rework recent update PHY state commit
[why]
Original change 594b237b9a ("drm/amd/display: Add
interface to track PHY state") was implemented by assuming stream's
dpms off is equivalent to PHY power off.
This assumption doesn't hold in following situations:
1. MST multiple stream scenario, where multiple streams are sharing the
same PHY output. Toggle dpms off for one of the stream doesn't power
off the PHY due to the presence of other streams.
2. enable stream failure scenario, where enable stream fails due to
failure of link training. This will cause DPMS off is set to false, while
the actual PHY power state is off in certain cases.
Due to the problematic assumption, the logic will skip disabling
other streams for MST multiple stream scenario, therefore PHY is
not actually powered off.

[how]
1. Rework this refactor by moving PHY state update down to hardware
level, where we update PHY state in place when hardware sequencer
is actually changing the power state of the PHY hardware.
2. Reimplement symclk on TX off workaround in place when we are actually
calling transmitter control to power off PHY in dcn32. Note the workaround is
added due to the lack of proper software interface to set TX while keeping
symclk on. We plan to address this interface problem so we can set TX off
only without affecting symclk in future dcn versions.

Preparation to enable run time initialization of register offsets to add
dc_context to the link_enc_create callback. This is needed to get the
dc_ctx handle where register offset initialization routine is called.

[Why]
Access violation occurs when swapping between HDMI and FRL monitors
because we're missing the immediate_disable_crtc callback and it's
required for the DCN314 clk manager.

6b6d12b6ff drm/amd/display: Fix entry into transient encoder assignment mode.
[Why]
In some scenarios it is possible for the encoder assignment module to be
set to "transient" mode even though there are no new encoder
assignments.

This can lead to incorrect results when querying encoder assignment,
which in turn can cause incorrect displays to be manipulated.

[How]
Only allow encoder assignment to be in transient mode of operation when
there are valid new encoder assignments.

2d017189e2 drm/amd/display: Blank eDP on enable drv if odm enabled
[Why]
For panels with pixel clock > 1200MHz that require ODM
in pre-OS, when driver is disabled in OS, odm is enabled.
Upon driver enablement, corruption is seen if
odm was originally enabled. DP_PIXEL_COMBINE and
pixelclk must be programmed prior to programming the
optc-odm registers. However, eDP displays aren't blanked
prior to initializing odm in this case.

[How]
Upon driver enablement, check whether odm is enabled,
if so, blank eDP prior to programming optc-odm
registers.

replaced with HW team approved calculations.

The placeholder calculations are dropped from DCN3.1 in the meantime
while we work out hardware approved replacements.
Also fix a bug where we wipe out other register contents with a REG_SET
