can: flexcan: Use a regulator to control the CAN transceiver
...
Instead of using a GPIO to turn on/off the CAN transceiver, it is better to
use a regulator as some systems may use a PMIC to power the CAN transceiver.

net: flexcan: clock-frequency is optional for device tree probe
...
The property clock-frequency is optional for device tree probe. When
it's absent, the flexcan driver will try to get the frequency from clk
system by calling clk_get_rate.

flexcan: Prefer device tree clock frequency if available.
...
If our CAN device's device tree node has a clock-frequency property,
then use that value for the can devices clock frequency. If not, fall
back to asking the platform/mach code for the clock frequency associated
with the flexcan device.

flexcan: Fix up fsl-flexcan device tree binding.
...
This patch cleans up the documentation of the device-tree binding for
the Flexcan devices on Freescale's PowerPC and ARM cores. Extra
properties are not used by the driver so we are removing them.
