Commit b4336a282d ("mwifiex: sdio: reset adapter using mmc_hw_reset")
introduces a simple sdio card reset solution based on card remove and
re-probe. This solution has proved to be vulnerable, as card and
adapter structures are not protected, concurrent access will result in
kernel panic issues.
Let's reuse PCIe FLR's functions for SDIO reset to avoid freeing and
reallocating adapter and card structures.

adapter and card variables don't get freed during PCIe function level
reset. "adapter->ext_scan" variable need not be re-initialized.
fw_name and tx_buf_size initialization is moved to pcie specific code
so that mwifiex_reinit_sw() can be used by SDIO.

This patch gets rid of mwifiex_do_flr. We will call
mwifiex_shutdown_sw() and mwifiex_reinit_sw() directly.
These two general purpose functions will be useful for
sdio card reset handler.

After user_rmmod global flag removal, *_init_module() and
*_cleanup_module() have become just a wrapper functions.
We will get rid of them with the help of module_*_driver() macros.
For pcie, existing ".init_if" handler has same name as what
module_pcie_driver() macro will create. Let's rename it to
avoid conflict.

bus.remove() callback function is called when user removes this module
from kernel space or ejects the card from the slot. The driver handles
these 2 cases differently. Few commands (FUNC_SHUTDOWN etc.) are sent to
the firmware only for module unload case.
The variable 'user_rmmod' is used to distinguish between these two
scenarios.
This patch checks hardware status and get rid of global variable
user_rmmod.

Currently pcie_work and related variables are global. It may create
problem while supporting multiple devices simultaneously. Let's move
it inside card structure so that separate instance will be created/
cancelled in init/teardown threads of each connected devices.

main_process is not expected to be running when shutdown_drv function
is called. currently we wait for main_process completion in the
function.
Actually the caller has already made sure main_process is completed by
performing below actions.
(1) disable interrupts in if_ops->disable_int.
(2) set adapter->surprise_removed = true, main_process wont be queued.
(3) mwifiex_terminate_workqueue(adapter), wait for workqueue to be
completed.
This patch removes redundant wait code and takes care of related
cleanup.

The event_data starts from address 0x00-0x0C and not from 0x08-0x014. This
leads to duplication with other fields in the Event Queue Element such as
sub-type, cqn and owner.

During transmission the skb is checked for headroom in order to
add vendor specific header. In case the skb needs to be re-allocated,
skb_realloc_headroom() is called to make a private copy of the original,
but doesn't release it. Current code assumes that the original skb is
released during reallocation and only releases it at the error path
which causes a memory leak.
Fix this by adding the original skb release to the main path.

For several reasons, it is desirable to use {READ,WRITE}_ONCE() in
preference to ACCESS_ONCE(), and new code is expected to use one of the
former. So far, there's been no reason to change most existing uses of
ACCESS_ONCE(), as these aren't currently harmful.
However, for some new features (e.g. KTSAN / Kernel Thread Sanitizer),
it is necessary to instrument reads and writes separately, which is not
possible with ACCESS_ONCE(). This distinction is critical to correct
operation.
It's possible to transform the bulk of kernel code using the Coccinelle
script below. However, for some files (including the ath9k ar9003 mac
driver), this mangles the formatting. As a preparatory step, this patch
converts the driver to use {READ,WRITE}_ONCE() without said mangling.

Simplified transmit credit distribution code somewhat.

Using the software based channel scan mechanism from mac80211 keeps us
offline for 10-15 second, we should instead issue a start_scan/end_scan
on each channel reducing this time.

The wcn36xx wifi driver follows the life cycle of the WLAN_CTRL SMD
channel, as such it should be a SMD client. This patch makes this

The receive callback (in tasklet context) is using RCU to get reference
to associated VF network device but this is not safe. RCU read lock
needs to be held. Found by running with full lockdep debugging
enabled.

Fix the hw rx checksum is always enabled, and the user couldn't switch
it to sw rx checksum.
Note that the RTL_VER_01 only support sw rx checksum only. Besides,
the hw rx checksum for RTL_VER_02 is disabled after
commit b9a321b48a ("r8152: Fix broken RX checksums."). Re-enable it.

Frank reported that vrf devices can be created with a table id of 0.
This breaks many of the run time table id checks and should not be
allowed. Detect this condition at create time and fail with EINVAL.

When an Marvell 88E1512 PHY is connected to a nic in SGMII mode, the
fiber page is used for the SGMII host-side connection. The PHY driver
notices that SUPPORTED_FIBRE is set, so it tries reading the fiber page
for the link status, and ends up reading the MAC-side status instead of
the outgoing (copper) link. This leads to incorrect results reported
via ethtool.
If the PHY is connected via SGMII to the host, ignore the fiber page.
However, continue to allow the existing power management code to
suspend and resume the fiber page.

fib_select_path does not call fib_select_multipath if oif is set in the
flow struct. For VRF use cases oif is always set, so multipath route
selection is bypassed. Use the FLOWI_FLAG_SKIP_NH_OIF to skip the oif
check similar to what is done in fib_table_lookup.
Add saddr and proto to the flow struct for the fib lookup done by the
VRF driver to better match hash computation for a flow.

Do not attempt to drain the health workqueue when unloading the device in
the recovery flow, this can cause a deadlock when the recovery work
tries to cancel itself with sync.
Because the work is no longer unconditionally canceled when unloading, it
must be explicitly canceled in the AER flow.

When trying to do interface down or changing interface configuration
under heavy traffic, some of the adaptive moderation corner cases can
occur and leave a WARN_ONCE call trace in the kernel log.
Those WARN_ONCE are meant for debug only, and should have been inserted
only under debug. We avoid such call traces by removing those WARN_ONCE.

When the firmware returns an error (common example is an attempt to
add twice the same rule which is refused by the some FWs), we are not
properly derefing/cleaning few resources allocated on the way.
Examples are vport vlan deref under eswitch vlan offloads, and encap
entry/neighbour deref under eswitch encapsulation offloads, fix that.

As done elsewhere in our TC/flower offload code, the address type of
the encapsulation IP headers should be realized accroding to the
addr_type field of the encapsulation control dissector key, do that.

When the route lookup fails we should return the actual error.
When the neigh isn't valid, we should return -EOPNOTSUPP as done
in similar cases along the code.
When the offload can't take place as of invalid neigh etc, we
must release the neigh.
