06e644c758 drm/sun4i: Move blender config from layers to mixer
With upcoming DE33 support, layer management must be decoupled from
other operations like blender configuration. There are two reasons:
- DE33 will have separate driver for planes and thus it will be harder
  to manage different register spaces
- Architecturaly it's better to split access by modules. Blender is now
  exclusively managed by mixer.

9bb3ceb961 drm/sun4i: Switch to drm_atomic_get_new_crtc_state()
The sun4i atomic_check implementation uses the deprecated
drm_atomic_get_existing_crtc_state() helper.

This hook is called as part of the global atomic_check, thus before the

f8d59fac57 drm/sun4i: Fix layer zpos change/atomic modesetting
Identical configurations of planes can lead to different (and wrong)
layer -> pipe routing at HW level, depending on the order of atomic
plane changes.

For example:

- Layer 1 is configured to zpos 0 and thus uses pipe 0. No other layer
  is enabled. This is a typical situation at boot.

- When a compositor takes over and layer 3 is enabled,
  sun8i_ui_layer_enable() will get called with old_zpos=0 zpos=1, which
  will lead to incorrect disabling of pipe 0 and enabling of pipe 1.

What happens is that sun8i_ui_layer_enable() function may disable
blender pipes even if it is no longer assigned to its layer.

To correct this, move the routing setup out of individual plane's
atomic_update into crtc's atomic_update, where it can be calculated
and updated all at once.

Remove the atomic_disable callback because it is no longer needed.

8c30eecc67 drm/gem: rename struct drm_gem_dma_object.{paddr => dma_addr}
The field paddr of struct drm_gem_dma_object holds a DMA address, which
might actually be a physical address. However, depending on the platform,
it can also be a bus address or a virtual address managed by an IOMMU.

Hence, rename the field to dma_addr, which is more applicable.

In order to do this renaming the following coccinelle script was used:

```
	@@
	struct drm_gem_dma_object *gem;
	@@
	- gem->paddr
	+ gem->dma_addr
	@@
	struct drm_gem_dma_object gem;
	dma_addr_t paddr;
	<...
	- paddr
	+ dma_addr
	...>
	@@
	symbol paddr;
	@@
	dma_addr_t
	- paddr
	+ dma_addr
	;
```

This patch is compile-time tested with:

4a83c26a1d drm/gem: rename GEM CMA helpers to GEM DMA helpers
Rename "GEM CMA" helpers to "GEM DMA" helpers - considering the
hierarchy of APIs (mm/cma -> dma -> gem dma) calling them "GEM

Besides that, commit e57924d4ae ("drm/doc: Task to rename CMA helpers")
requests to rename the CMA helpers and implies that people seem to be
confused about the naming.

In order to do this renaming the following script was used:

	for ff in $(grep -RiHl "cma_obj" $DIRS)
	do
		sed -i -E "s/cma_obj/dma_obj/g" $ff
	done
```
Only a few more manual modifications were needed, e.g. reverting the
following modifications in some DRM Kconfig files
    -       select CMA if HAVE_DMA_CONTIGUOUS
    +       select DMA if HAVE_DMA_CONTIGUOUS
as well as manually picking the occurrences of 'CMA'/'cma' in comments and
documentation which relate to "GEM CMA", but not "FB CMA".
Also drivers/gpu/drm/Makefile was fixed up manually after renaming
drm_gem_cma_helper.c to drm_gem_dma_helper.c.
1f8a21af21 sun4i/drm: sun8i: use mode_set engine callback
Newly introduced mode_set callback in engine structure is a much better
place for setting mixer output size and interlace mode for the following
reasons:
1. Aforementioned properties change only when mode changes, so it's
   enough to be set only once per mode set. Currently it's done whenever
   properties of primary plane are changed.
2. It's assumed that primary plane will always cover whole screen. While
   this is true most of the time, it's not always. DE2/3 planes are
   universal and mostly equal in functionality. There is no reason to
   add artificial limitation to primary planes.
3. The current code only works for UI layers, but some mixers do not
   have any UI layers.
b36a6bb8a1 drm/sun4i: de3: Be explicit about supported modifiers
Currently only linear formats are supported in sun4i-drm driver, but
SoCs like H6 supports AFBC variant of some of them in multiple cores
(GPU, VPU, DE3). Panfrost already implements AFBC compression and is
sometimes confused what should be default choice (linear, AFBC) if DRM
driver is not explicit about modifier support (MiniMyth2 distro with
MythTV app).
After some discussion with Daniel Stone on #panfrost IRC, it was decided
to make modifiers in sun4i-drm explicit, to avoid any kind of guessing,
not just in panfrost, but everywhere. In fact, long term idea is to make
modifier parameter in drm_universal_plane_init() mandatory (non NULL).
37418bf14c drm: Use state helper instead of the plane state pointer
Many drivers reference the plane->state pointer in order to get the
current plane state in their atomic_update or atomic_disable hooks,
which would be the new plane state in the global atomic state since
_swap_state happened when those hooks are run.
Use the drm_atomic_get_new_plane_state helper to get that state to make it
A number of static variables are not modified and can be made const to
allow the compiler to put them in read-only memory.
7831112ede drm/sun4i: de2: Don't return de2_fmt_info struct
Now that de2_fmt_info contains only DRM <-> HW format mapping, it
doesn't make sense to return pointer to structure when searching by DRM
format. Rework that to return only HW format instead.
This doesn't make any functional change.
9c25a29766 drm/sun4i: drop use of drmP.h
Drop use of the deprecated drmP.h header file.
While touching the list of include file, use the typical order of the
blocks:
\#include <linux/*>
\#include <video/*>
\#include <drm/*>
\#include ""
Within each block, sort the files.
Include necessary files to fix build after the drmP.h removal.
fcd70cd36b drm: Split out drm_probe_helper.h
Having the probe helper stuff (which pretty much everyone needs) in
the drm_crtc_helper.h file (which atomic drivers should never need) is
confusing. Split them out.
To make sure I actually achieved the goal here I went through all
drivers. And indeed, all atomic drivers are now free of
drm_crtc_helper.h includes.
v2: Make it compile. There was so much compile fail on arm drivers
that I figured I'll better not include any of the acks on v1.
v3: Massive rebase because i915 has lost a lot of drmP.h includes, but
not all: Through drm_crtc_helper.h > drm_modeset_helper.h -> drmP.h
there was still one, which this patch largely removes. Which means
rolling out lots more includes all over.
This will also conflict with ongoing drmP.h cleanup by others I
expect.
v3: Rebase on top of atomic bochs.
v4: Review from Laurent for bridge/rcar/omap/shmob/core bits:
- (re)move some of the added includes, use the better include files in
  other places (all suggested from Laurent adopted unchanged).
- sort alphabetically
v5: Actually try to sort them, and while at it, sort all the ones I
touch.
v6: Rebase onto i915 changes.
v7: Rebase once more.
