bf4afc53b7 Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument
This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

69050f8d6d treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types
This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

1fdb55ed40 media: v4l2-mem2mem: Don't copy frame flags in v4l2_m2m_buf_copy_metadata()
The v4l2_m2m_buf_copy_metadata() function takes a boolean
copy_frame_flags argument. When true, it causes the function to copy the
V4L2_BUF_FLAG_KEYFRAME, V4L2_BUF_FLAG_BFRAME and V4L2_BUF_FLAG_PFRAME
flags from the output buffer to the capture buffer.

There is no use cases in any upstream driver for copying the flags.
KEY/P/B frames are properties of the bitstream buffer in some formats.
Once decoded, this is no longer a property of the video frame and should
be discarded.

It was considered useful to know if an uncompressed frame was decoded
from a KEY/P/B compressed frame, and to preserve that information if
that same uncompressed frame was passed through another M2M device (e.g.
a scaler). However, the V4L2 documentation makes it clear that the flags
are meant for compressed frames only.

Drop the copy_frame_flags argument from v4l2_m2m_buf_copy_metadata().

8003313d38 media: Replace file->private_data access with file_to_v4l2_fh()
Accessing file->private_data manually to retrieve the v4l2_fh pointer is
error-prone, as the field is a void * and will happily cast implicitly
to any pointer type.

Replace all remaining locations that read the v4l2_fh pointer directly
from file->private_data with usage of the file_to_v4l2_fh() function.
The change was generated manually.

No functional change is intended, this only paves the way to remove
direct accesses to file->private_data and make V4L2 drivers safer.
Other accesses to the field will be addressed separately.

d01e5a4d86 media: test-drivers: drop vb2_ops_wait_prepare/finish
Since commit 88785982a1 ("media: vb2: use lock if wait_prepare/finish

vb2_ops callbacks as long as the lock field in vb2_queue is set.

Since the vb2_ops_wait_prepare/finish callbacks already rely on that field,
we can safely drop these callbacks.

This simplifies the code and this is a step towards the goal of deleting
these callbacks.

1727b71647 media: visl-core: Convert to platform remove callback returning void
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored
and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a
quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this
quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns
void.

Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

0c078e310b media: visl: add virtual stateless decoder driver
A virtual stateless device for stateless uAPI development purposes.

This tool's objective is to help the development and testing of
userspace applications that use the V4L2 stateless API to decode media.

A userspace implementation can use visl to run a decoding loop even when
no hardware is available or when the kernel uAPI for the codec has not
been upstreamed yet. This can reveal bugs at an early stage.

This driver can also trace the contents of the V4L2 controls submitted
to it. It can also dump the contents of the vb2 buffers through a
debugfs interface. This is in many ways similar to the tracing
infrastructure available for other popular encode/decode APIs out there
and can help develop a userspace application by using another (working)
one as a reference.

Note that no actual decoding of video frames is performed by visl. The
V4L2 test pattern generator is used to write various debug information
to the capture buffers instead.
