99c8c16a4a net: dsa: microchip: Fix error path in PTP IRQ setup
If request_threaded_irq() fails during the PTP message IRQ setup, the
newly created IRQ mapping is never disposed. Indeed, the
ksz_ptp_irq_setup()'s error path only frees the mappings that were
successfully set up.

Dispose the newly created mapping if the associated
request_threaded_irq() fails at setup.

bf4afc53b7 Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument
This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

69050f8d6d treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types
This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

3adff276e7 net: dsa: microchip: Wrap timestamp reading in a function
Timestamps are directly accessed through a register read in the
interrupt handler. KSZ8463's logic to access it will be a bit more
complex because the same interrupt can be triggered by two different
timestamps being ready.

Wrap the timestamp's reading in a dedicated function to ease the
KSZ8463's integration in upcoming patches.

813feab1ac net: dsa: microchip: Initialize IRQ's mask outside common_setup()
The IRQ logic of the KSZ8463 differs from that of other KSZ switches.
It doesn't have a 'mask' register but an 'enable' one instead. The
common IRQ framework can still be used though as soon as we reverse
the logic (using '1' to enable interrupts instead of '0') for KSZ8463
cases.

Move the initialization of the kirq->masked outside of
ksz_irq_common_setup() to keep this function truly common when
IRQ support for the KSZ8463 is added.

d0b8fec8ae net: dsa: microchip: Fix symetry in ksz_ptp_msg_irq_{setup/free}()
The IRQ numbers created through irq_create_mapping() are only assigned
to ptpmsg_irq[n].num at the end of the IRQ setup. So if an error occurs
between their creation and their assignment (for instance during the
request_threaded_irq() step), we enter the error path and fail to
release the newly created virtual IRQs because they aren't yet assigned
to ptpmsg_irq[n].num.

Move the mapping creation to ksz_ptp_msg_irq_setup() to ensure symetry
with what's released by ksz_ptp_msg_irq_free().
In the error path, move the irq_dispose_mapping to the out_ptp_msg label
so it will be called only on created IRQs.

0f80e21bf6 net: dsa: microchip: Free previously initialized ports on init failures
If a port interrupt setup fails after at least one port has already been
successfully initialized, the gotos miss some resource releasing:
- the already initialized PTP IRQs aren't released
- the already initialized port IRQs aren't released if the failure
occurs in ksz_pirq_setup().

Merge 'out_girq' and 'out_ptpirq' into a single 'port_release' label.
Behind this label, use the reverse loop to release all IRQ resources
for all initialized ports.
Jump in the middle of the reverse loop if an error occurs in
ksz_ptp_irq_setup() to only release the port IRQ of the current

3ceb6ac211 net: dsa: microchip: lan937x: Fix RGMII delay tuning
Correct RGMII delay application logic in lan937x_set_tune_adj().

The function was missing `data16 &= ~PORT_TUNE_ADJ` before setting the
new delay value. This caused the new value to be bitwise-OR'd with the
existing PORT_TUNE_ADJ field instead of replacing it.

For example, when setting the RGMII 2 TX delay on port 4, the
intended TUNE_ADJUST value of 0 (RGMII_2_TX_DELAY_2NS) was
incorrectly OR'd with the default 0x1B (from register value 0xDA3),
leaving the delay at the wrong setting.

This patch adds the missing mask to clear the field, ensuring the
correct delay value is written. Physical measurements on the RGMII TX
lines confirm the fix, showing the delay changing from ~1ns (before
change) to ~2ns.

While testing on i.MX 8MP showed this was within the platform's timing
tolerance, it did not match the intended hardware-characterized value.

620e2392db net: dsa: microchip: Disable PTP function of KSZ8463
The PTP function of KSZ8463 is on by default. However, its proprietary
way of storing timestamp directly in a reserved field inside the PTP
message header is not suitable for use with the current Linux PTP stack
implementation. It is necessary to disable the PTP function to not
interfere the normal operation of the MAC.

Note the PTP driver for KSZ switches does not work for KSZ8463 and is not
activated for it.

84c47bfc5b net: dsa: microchip: Add KSZ8463 switch support to KSZ DSA driver
KSZ8463 switch is a 3-port switch based from KSZ8863. Its major
difference from other KSZ SPI switches is its register access is not a
simple continual 8-bit transfer with automatic address increase but uses
a byte-enable mechanism specifying 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit access. Its
registers are also defined in 16-bit format because it shares a design
with a MAC controller using 16-bit access. As a result some common
register accesses need to be re-arranged.

This patch adds the basic structure for using KSZ8463. It cannot use the
same regmap table for other KSZ switches as it interprets the 16-bit
value as little-endian and its SPI commands are different.

KSZ8463 uses a byte-enable mechanism to specify 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit
access. The register is first shifted right by 2 then left by 4. Extra
4 bits are added. If the access is 8-bit one of the 4 bits is set. If
the access is 16-bit two of the 4 bits are set. If the access is 32-bit
all 4 bits are set. The SPI command for read or write is then added.

Because of this register transformation separate SPI read and write
functions are provided for KSZ8463.

KSZ8463's internal PHYs use standard PHY register definitions so there is
no need to remap things. However, the hardware has a bug that the high
word and low word of the PHY id are swapped. In addition the port
registers are arranged differently so KSZ8463 has its own mapping for
port registers and PHY registers. Therefore the PORT_CTRL_ADDR macro is
replaced with the get_port_addr helper function.

Pull networking updates from Paolo Abeni:
 "Core:

   - Implement the Device Memory TCP transmit path, allowing zero-copy
data transmission on top of TCP from e.g. GPU memory to the wire.

   - Move all the IPv6 routing tables management outside the RTNL scope,
under its own lock and RCU. The route control path is now 3x times
     faster.

   - Convert queue related netlink ops to instance lock, reducing again
the scope of the RTNL lock. This improves the control plane
     scalability.

   - Refactor the software crc32c implementation, removing unneeded
abstraction layers and improving significantly the related
     micro-benchmarks.

   - Optimize the GRO engine for UDP-tunneled traffic, for a 10%
performance improvement in related stream tests.

   - Cover more per-CPU storage with local nested BH locking; this is a
prep work to remove the current per-CPU lock in local_bh_disable()
     on PREMPT_RT.

   - Introduce and use nlmsg_payload helper, combining buffer bounds
verification with accessing payload carried by netlink messages.

  Netfilter:

   - Rewrite the procfs conntrack table implementation, improving
considerably the dump performance. A lot of user-space tools still
     use this interface.

   - Implement support for wildcard netdevice in netdev basechain and
     flowtables.

   - Integrate conntrack information into nft trace infrastructure.

   - Export set count and backend name to userspace, for better
     introspection.

  BPF:

   - BPF qdisc support: BPF-qdisc can be implemented with BPF struct_ops
programs and can be controlled in similar way to traditional qdiscs
     using the "tc qdisc" command.

   - Refactor the UDP socket iterator, addressing long standing issues
WRT duplicate hits or missed sockets.

  Protocols:

   - Improve TCP receive buffer auto-tuning and increase the default
upper bound for the receive buffer; overall this improves the
single flow maximum thoughput on 200Gbs link by over 60%.

   - Add AFS GSSAPI security class to AF_RXRPC; it provides transport
security for connections to the AFS fileserver and VL server.

   - Improve TCP multipath routing, so that the sources address always
     matches the nexthop device.

   - Introduce SO_PASSRIGHTS for AF_UNIX, to allow disabling SCM_RIGHTS,
and thus preventing DoS caused by passing around problematic FDs.

   - Retire DCCP socket. DCCP only receives updates for bugs, and major
distros disable it by default. Its removal allows for better
organisation of TCP fields to reduce the number of cache lines hit
     in the fast path.

   - Extend TCP drop-reason support to cover PAWS checks.

  Driver API:

   - Reorganize PTP ioctl flag support to require an explicit opt-in for
the drivers, avoiding the problem of drivers not rejecting new
     unsupported flags.

   - Converted several device drivers to timestamping APIs.

   - Introduce per-PHY ethtool dump helpers, improving the support for
     dump operations targeting PHYs.

  Tests and tooling:

   - Add support for classic netlink in user space C codegen, so that
ynl-c can now read, create and modify links, routes addresses and
     qdisc layer configuration.

   - Add ynl sub-types for binary attributes, allowing ynl-c to output
known struct instead of raw binary data, clarifying the classic
     netlink output.

   - Extend MPTCP selftests to improve the code-coverage.

   - Add tests for XDP tail adjustment in AF_XDP.

  New hardware / drivers:

   - OpenVPN virtual driver: offload OpenVPN data channels processing to
the kernel-space, increasing the data transfer throughput WRT the
     user-space implementation.

   - Renesas glue driver for the gigabit ethernet RZ/V2H(P) SoC.

   - Broadcom asp-v3.0 ethernet driver.

e8c35bfce4 net: dsa: microchip: Add SGMII port support to KSZ9477 switch
The KSZ9477 switch driver uses the XPCS driver to operate its SGMII
port. However there are some hardware bugs in the KSZ9477 SGMII
module so workarounds are needed. There was a proposal to update the
XPCS driver to accommodate KSZ9477, but the new code is not generic
enough to be used by other vendors. It is better to do all these
workarounds inside the KSZ9477 driver instead of modifying the XPCS
driver.

There are 3 hardware issues. The first is the MII_ADVERTISE register
needs to be write once after reset for the correct code word to be
sent. The XPCS driver disables auto-negotiation first before
configuring the SGMII/1000BASE-X mode and then enables it back. The
KSZ9477 driver then writes the MII_ADVERTISE register before enabling
auto-negotiation. In 1000BASE-X mode the MII_ADVERTISE register will
be set, so KSZ9477 driver does not need to write it.

The second issue is the MII_BMCR register needs to set the exact speed
and duplex mode when running in SGMII mode. During link polling the
KSZ9477 will check the speed and duplex mode are different from
previous ones and update the MII_BMCR register accordingly.

The last issue is 1000BASE-X mode does not work with auto-negotiation
on. The cause is the local port hardware does not know the link is up
and so network traffic is not forwarded. The workaround is to write 2
additional bits when 1000BASE-X mode is configured.

Note the SGMII interrupt in the port cannot be masked. As that
interrupt is not handled in the KSZ9477 driver the SGMII interrupt bit
will not be set even when the XPCS driver sets it.

e0c27a82c2 net: Switch to irq_domain_create_*()
irq_domain_add_*() interfaces are going away as being obsolete now.
Switch to the preferred irq_domain_create_*() ones. Those differ in the
node parameter: They take more generic struct fwnode_handle instead of
struct device_node. Therefore, of_fwnode_handle() is added around the
original parameter.

Note some of the users can likely use dev->fwnode directly instead of
indirect of_fwnode_handle(dev->of_node). But dev->fwnode is not
guaranteed to be set for all, so this has to be investigated on case to
case basis (by people who can actually test with the HW).

76ca05e0ab net: dsa: microchip: let phylink manage PHY EEE configuration on KSZ switches
Phylink expects MAC drivers to provide LPI callbacks to properly manage
Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) configuration. On KSZ switches with
integrated PHYs, LPI is internally handled by hardware, while ports
without integrated PHYs have no documented MAC-level LPI support.

Provide dummy mac_disable_tx_lpi() and mac_enable_tx_lpi() callbacks to
satisfy phylink requirements. Also, set default EEE capabilities during
phylink initialization where applicable.

Since phylink can now gracefully handle optional EEE configuration,
remove the need for the MICREL_NO_EEE PHY flag.

This change addresses issues caused by incomplete EEE refactoring
introduced in commit fe0d4fd928 ("net: phy: Keep track of EEE
configuration"). It is not easily possible to fix all older kernels, but
this patch ensures proper behavior on latest kernels and can be
considered for backporting to stable kernels starting from v6.14.

6c14058edf net: dsa: convert to ndo_hwtstamp_get() and ndo_hwtstamp_set()
New timestamping API was introduced in commit 66f7223039 ("net: add

time to convert DSA to the new API, so that the ndo_eth_ioctl() path can
be removed completely.

Move the ds->ops->port_hwtstamp_get() and ds->ops->port_hwtstamp_set()
calls from dsa_user_ioctl() to dsa_user_hwtstamp_get() and

Due to the fact that the underlying ifreq type changes to
kernel_hwtstamp_config, the drivers and the Ocelot switchdev front-end,
all hooked up directly or indirectly, must also be converted all at once.

The conversion also updates the comment from dsa_port_supports_hwtstamp(),
which is no longer true because kernel_hwtstamp_config is kernel memory
and does not need copy_to_user(). I've deliberated whether it is
necessary to also update "err != -EOPNOTSUPP" to a more general "!err",
but all drivers now either return 0 or -EOPNOTSUPP.

The existing logic from the ocelot_ioctl() function, to avoid
configuring timestamping if the PHY supports the operation, is obsoleted
by more advanced core logic in dev_set_hwtstamp_phylib().

This is only a partial preparation for proper PHY timestamping support.
None of these switch driver currently sets up PTP traps for PHY
timestamping, so setting dev->see_all_hwtstamp_requests is not yet
necessary and the conversion is relatively trivial.

4129a75a76 net: dsa: microchip: add ETS scheduler support for KSZ88x3 switches
Implement Enhanced Transmission Selection scheduler (ETS) support for
KSZ88x3 devices, which support two fixed egress scheduling modes:
Strict Priority and Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ).

Since the switch does not allow remapping priorities to queues or
adjusting weights, this implementation only supports enabling
strict priority mode. If strict mode is not explicitly requested,
the switch falls back to its default WFQ mode.

This patch introduces KSZ88x3-specific handlers for ETS add and
delete operations and uses TXQ Split Control registers to toggle
the WFQ enable bit per queue. Corresponding macros are also added
for register access.

1ae1d705a1 net: dsa: microchip: fix DCB apptrust configuration on KSZ88x3
Remove KSZ88x3-specific priority and apptrust configuration logic that was
based on incorrect register access assumptions. Also fix the register
offset for KSZ8_REG_PORT_1_CTRL_0 to align with get_port_addr() logic.

The KSZ88x3 switch family uses a different register layout compared to
KSZ9477-compatible variants. Specifically, port control registers need
offset adjustment through get_port_addr(), and do not match the datasheet
values directly.

Commit a1ea57710c ("net: dsa: microchip: dcb: add special handling for
KSZ88X3 family") introduced quirks based on datasheet offsets, which do
not work with the driver's internal addressing model. As a result, these
quirks addressed the wrong ports and caused unstable behavior.

This patch removes all KSZ88x3-specific DCB quirks and corrects the port
control register offset, effectively restoring working and predictable
apptrust configuration.

0945a7b442 net: dsa: ksz: remove setting of tx_lpi parameters
dsa_user_get_eee() calls the DSA switch get_mac_eee() method followed
by phylink_ethtool_get_eee(), which goes on to call
phy_ethtool_get_eee(). This overwrites all members of the passed
ethtool_keee, which means anything written by the DSA switch
get_mac_eee() method will be discarded.

Remove setting any members in ksz_get_mac_eee().

6ed3472173 net: dsa: microchip: Do not execute PTP driver code for unsupported switches
The PTP driver code only works for certain KSZ switches like KSZ9477,
KSZ9567, LAN937X and their varieties. This code is enabled by kernel
configuration CONFIG_NET_DSA_MICROCHIP_KSZ_PTP. As the DSA driver is
common to work with all KSZ switches this PTP code is not appropriate
for other unsupported switches. The ptp_capable indication is added to
the chip data structure to signal whether to execute those code.

3fc87cb94f net: dsa: microchip: Add suspend/resume support to KSZ DSA driver
The KSZ DSA driver starts a timer to read MIB counters periodically to
avoid count overrun. During system suspend this will give an error for
not able to write to register as the SPI system returns an error when
it is in suspend state. This implementation stops the timer when the
system goes into suspend and restarts it when resumed.
