0a5d0a0eea dt-bindings: usb: analogix,anx7411: drop redundant connector properties
The binding references usb-connector.yaml schema, which lists all
allowed properties and ends with unevaluatedProperties:false, so we can
simplify analogix,anx7411 binding by dropping everything covered by
usb-connector.yaml.

Reset controller updates for v6.9

Enable support for the Sophgo SG2042 reset controller via reset-simple,
add a GPIO-based reset controller criver for shared GPIO resets, extract
an of_phandle_args_equal() helper function out of cpufreq, and use it in
reset-gpio.

Based on v6.8-rc5 because reset-gpio depends on commits in the

Qualcomm driver updates for v6.9

This introduces the Qualcomm Programmable Boot Sequencer (PBS) driver.

The Qualcomm SMEM no longer acquires the hwspinlock during the "get"
operation, to improve the system behavior during the recovery of a
remoteproc that crashed with the hwspinlock held.

The Qualcomm Always On Subsystem (AOSS) message protocol driver gains
tracepoints, printf annotation, and a debugfs interface is introduced
for tweaking system properties during development and debugging.

The Qualcomm socinfo driver gains data for SM8475, QCM8550 and
QCS8550 platforms, and the PM2250 is renamed to PM4125.

Support for controlling the voltage regulator in SPM/SAW2 is introduced.

The gfx.lvl power-domain is dropped for SA8540P, as this resource was
incorrectly inherited from SC8280XP.

Additionally some code cleanup improvements is introduced across APR,
LLCC, SMP2P and SPM.

Initial support for the rk3568 Qnap TS433 NAS, the rk3588-based Tiger SoM
from Theobroma-Systems and the rk3588-based Toybrick TB-RK3588X.
Some fixes to conform to dt-bindings for i2s (rk3588, rk356x) and
rk356x video-decoder (missing interrupt-names).

Correcting the vendor in the compatible for OrangePi RK3399 and BananaPi
R2 Pro (discussed with DT-maintainers beforehand of course).

The VO1-GRF syscon needs its clock to work, and that clock also needed to
be actually exported forst, so we're sharing a branch with the Rockchip
clock-tree (that already got merged into the main clock-tree for 6.9) for
this small shared code.

And as another step on the long road to graphics output on rk3588, 6.9 will
get the hdmi-phy via the phy-tree, so here the dts node is added.

5fd61cc281 dt-bindings: pwm: amlogic: Add a new binding for meson8 pwm types
The binding that is used up to now describe which input the PWM
channel multiplexer should pick among its possible parents,
which are hardcoded in the driver. This isn't a good binding in
the sense that it should describe hardware but not usage.

Add a new binding deprecating the old one that uses clocks in a
better way and how clocks are usually used today: The list of
clocks describe the inputs of the PWM block as they are realised
in hardware.

So deprecate the old bindings and introduce a compatible per SoC
family to replace these.

c2dd6b93f6 dt-bindings: pwm: amlogic: fix s4 bindings
s4 has been added to the compatible list while converting the Amlogic PWM
binding documentation from txt to yaml.

However, on the s4, the clock bindings have different meaning compared to
the previous SoCs.

On the previous SoCs the clock bindings used to describe which input the
PWM channel multiplexer should pick among its possible parents.

This is very much tied to the driver implementation, instead of describing
the HW for what it is. When support for the Amlogic PWM was first added,
how to deal with clocks through DT was not as clear as it nowadays.
The Linux driver now ignores this DT setting, but still relies on the
hard-coded list of clock sources.

On the s4, the input multiplexer is gone. The clock bindings actually
describe the clock as it exists, not a setting. The property has a
different meaning, even if it is still 2 clocks and it would pass the check
when support is actually added.

Also the s4 cannot work if the clocks are not provided, so the property is
no longer optional.

Finally, for once it makes sense to see the input as being numbered
somehow. No need to bother with clock-names on the s4 type of PWM.

Arm SMMU updates for 6.9

- Device-tree binding updates for a bunch of Qualcomm SoCs

- SMMUv2:
  * Support for Qualcomm X1E80100 MDSS

- SMMUv3:
  * Significant rework of the driver's STE manipulation and domain
handling code. This is the initial part of a larger scale rework
aiming to improve the driver's implementation of the IOMMU API
in preparation for hooking up IOMMUFD support.

Add PowerVR Series5 SGX GPUs for the TI SoCs

With the Imagination Rogue GPU binding added, let's also add the devicetree
binding for earlier SGX GPUs. Let's also patch the TI SoCs for the related
SGX GPU nodes.

Based on the mailing list discussions, the conclusion was that we need two
separate device tree bindings, one for Rogue and upcoming GPUS, and one for
the older SGX GPUs.

For merging the changes, I applied the binding changes together with the
TI SoC related changes into a branch leaving out the sun6i and mips changes
as suggested by Rob.

These changes are mostly 32-bit SoCs, but also contains one arm64 change.
It does not cause any merge conflicts.
